Joining the Octet for our Queen of Heaven concert, we are delighted to have Leonie Tonkin on Alto 2.

Leonie studied Arts and Law at the University of Melbourne, and in her final year combined her love of German, history and music to write her honours thesis on the hymns of Martin Luther.

She is an accomplished recorder player, and has twenty years’ experience singing with choirs and small vocal ensembles. She has toured with the Choir of Ormond College and the Australian Chamber Choir, sings with Ensemble Gombert, and is Associate Principal Alto at the Scots’ Church, Melbourne.
